Event Policy

We're delighted to have you join us in our events. Please read the following Event Policy as it outlines guidelines and expectations for event attendees. By participating in a Monongalia County GOP event, you agree to abide by these rules and regulations. Please also read the Terms and Conditions, Code of Conduct, and Privacy Policy to understand how they may apply.

Registration & Admission


1.1. Registration: All attendees must register for the event through the designated registration process. The organizers reserve the right to accept or reject any registration.
1.2. Admission: Admission to the event is subject to availability and compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

Code of Conduct


2.1. Respectful Behavior: All attendees are expected to treat fellow participants, event staff, and speakers with respect, irrespective of their gender, race, ethnicity, religion, political beliefs, or any other characteristic. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of intimidation will not be tolerated.
2.2. Compliance with Laws: Attendees must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations during the event.
2.3. Non-Violence: Violence, threats of violence, or any form of aggressive behavior will not be tolerated at the event or associated activities.
2.4. Professional Conduct: Attendees are expected to engage in professional and constructive dialogue. Disruptive behavior, excessive noise, or any other actions that hinder the event or negatively impact others' experience are prohibited. 
2.5. Intellectual Property: Respect intellectual property rights. Unauthorized recording, photography, or distribution of event content is strictly prohibited without prior consent from the organizers.
2.6. Compliance with Venue Policies: Attendees must comply with all policies, rules, and regulations of the event venue.

Event Content & Materials


3.1. Accuracy: The organizers strive to provide accurate information and content during the event. However, they do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information shared.

3.2. Copyright: All event materials, including presentations, handouts, and digital content, are protected by copyright. Attendees may not reproduce, distribute, or modify these materials without explicit permission from the organizers.
3.3. Speaker Views: The views expressed by the event speakers are their own and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the organizers.

Liability


4.1. Personal Property: The organizers are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings of attendees during the event.
4.2. Personal Safety: Attendees are responsible for their own safety and well-being during the event. The organizers are not liable for any personal injuries or accidents that may occur.
4.3. Indemnification: Attendees agree to indemnify and hold harmless the event organizers, their employees, agents, and representatives from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from their participation in the event.

Event Changes & Cancellations


5.1. Changes: The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the event program, including but not limited to speakers, schedule, venue, or content, without prior notice.
5.2. Cancellations: In the event of cancelation or postponement, the organizers will make reasonable efforts to notify registered attendees. However, they are not liable for any expenses incurred by attendees related to the event.

Termination of Participation


6.1. Violation of Terms: The organizers reserve the right to take appropriate action, including immediate termination of an attendee's participation, if they violate any of these Terms and Conditions or engage in behavior deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or harmful.
6.2. No Refunds: In the event of termination, attendees will not be entitled to any refunds or compensation.
